Short biography



Present:

Tenured Associate Professor (in French : “Maître de Conférences”) in Computer Science at the Hubert Curien Laboratory (Jean Monnet University, Saint-Etienne, France).
I am member of the Connected Intelligence research team of the lab.
My research domains are on artificial intelligence, recommender systems, knowledge discovery and data mining.

Past:

I have studied computer science, psychology and cognitive sciences:
  • 1990: Baccalauréat C (A Level in Mathematics and Physics), Strasbourg district, France.
  • 1992: "DUT" (Under graduate level) in Computer Science, Strasbourg, France.
  • 1994 and 1995: "DEUG" (Under graduate level) and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Graduate level) in Psychology at the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, France.
  • 1996 and 1997: Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Cognitive Science at Lyon, France (Lyon2, Lyon1 et l’ENS de Lyon).
  • 1999: "DEA" (Post graduate level) in Cognitive Science at Paris, France (Paris 6, EHESS, Polytechnique, Toulouse 3).
  • 2002: PhD thesis in computer science, Lyon, France.
