Topic of the Workshop

Zeta-functions and multiple-zeta-functions are important objects arising in many mathematical fields: number theory, algebraic geometry, group theory, mathematical physics,
theoretical computer science, graph theory, partial differential equations, fractal geometry, etc. The program will have an emphasis on analytic, diophantine and geometric aspects
of multiple zeta-functions. The workshop will highlight some recent developments connected with the program.

This Workshop is a part of the French-Japanese Project "Zeta Functions of Several Variables and Applications" (Website :https://sites.google.com/site/fjzeta2015/home)
supported by the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS).
This Workshop benefits also from the financial support of the Labex MILYON.

Travel Information

From Lyon or Paris to Saint-Etienne by train:

A convenient way to travel to Saint-Etienne (Gare Châteaucreux) is by train from Lyon or Paris (trains from Paris to
Saint-Etienne leave in Paris from Gare de Lyon). For this see the SNCF website.

Local Information

Location of the Workshop:

To get to the Faculty of Sciences of Saint-Etienne, you must take the bus n°4, from the the Saint-Etienne Châteaucreux railway station, until the "Faculté des Sciences" station.
Tickets must be bought from the machine on the platform.

Staying in Saint-Etienne:

Here is a list of hotels in Saint-Etienne. Please ask organizers to reserve a hotel for you.
If you stay at a hotel, please settle the bill directly with the hotel.

Meals:
Lunch will be served in a room near the conference lecture place.
On Tuesday evening, there will be a dinner at a restaurant, located near town center.
Please indicate on the registration email if you wish to attend.
